The Wild Women of Winedale by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten
This joyful and exuberant, yet touching, comedy focuses on the Wild sisters of Winedale, Virginia—Fanny and Willa and their frustratingly quirky sister-in-law, Johnnie Faye. This feisty and fun-loving trio has supported and cheered one another on through life’s ups and downs. And they really need each other now as Fanny faces her 60th birthday, Willa is so stressed out from her nursing job she resorts to vodka and speed-knitting and widowed Johnnie Faye, desperately tries to find a man. With equal doses of hilarity and heart, these extraordinary women come up with delightful and surprisingly unorthodox ways to move their lives forward.

The Cover of Life by R.T. Robinson
Tood, Weetsie, and Sybill are brides in rural Louisiana in 1943. Each married a Cliffert brother. The men are off to war and a local news story about these young wives keeping the home fires burning intrigues Henry Luce. Deciding they belong on the cover of Life Magazine he assigns Kate Miller to the story. Though she views doing a “women’s piece” as a career set-back, she accepts because it’s her first cover story. Kate’s haughty urban attitude gives way to sympathy as she begins to understand them while coming face-to-face with her personal conflicts. Filled with charm and fun, The Cover of Life is a deeply affecting story about the struggle for self worth.

The Last Night of Ballyhoo
By Alfred Uhry
December 11-13 &
December 17 -19, 2020
The Last Night of Ballyhoo by Alfred Uhry
Takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, in December of 1939. Gone with the Wind is having its world premiere, and Hitler is invading Poland, but Atlanta’s elitist German Jews are much more concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, the social event of the season. Especially concerned is the Freitag family. The family gets pulled apart and then mended together with plenty of comedy, romance, and revelations along the way. Events take several unexpected turns as the characters face where they come from and are forced to deal with who they really are.
